Stylizing logo art isn’t new but, certainly Google has taken the art to a science while keeping a healthy sense of humour about it. There’s an old saying about “the little things being the difference” and I have to agree. While it’s true that Google’s commitment to a very simple home page doesn’t give them that much to work with, it’s also true that they (out of necessity) have shown some magical creative thought with their logo art.

You can check out the official Google logo art archive here.

This little bit of creativity says an awful lot about the company and culture of same. It sends a message that Google promotes a creative and fun environment and has a corporate sense of humour. That may seem like a big message to get from such a little thing as some creative license with one’s corporate logo but, when you start seeing entire sites dedicated to your logo art, you have to know people are appreciating the effort and getting the message.

We certainly appreciate it and here at the eMail Guide we try to do the same thing with our graphics. We try to keep the art work fun, fresh and even a little irreverent at times. I think the Google brain trust would agree with us that you have enough negatives in your day and the first thing we want to see cross your face when you visit The eMail Guide is a smile. The second thing we want you to feel is a sense of satsifaction that you’ve found the eMail marketing  informtation you’ve been looking for. Wow, we seem to have a lot in common with Google don’t we? That must be why we are called “the search engine for eMail marketers”!
